David Weinstein - Candidate for Lake County Judge

I am David Weinstein, and I’m running for Circuit Judge because of my long term commitment to public service. I have served both as a prosecutor and a public defender. Making a difference in people’s lives is important to me.

As a third generation Lake County resident, living in Gurnee with my wife and nine year old daughter, I serve as a board member of Youth Conservation Corps in Waukegan. My wife, Jamie, works in our community as a social worker.

My wide ranging experience includes representing people in court, from routine matters up to the most complex cases, in virtually every area of the law, before judges and juries.

There are no Democratic elected judges in Lake County and a one party system does not reflect the rich diversity that we enjoy here. An effective judiciary must reflect the community that it serves.

My commitment to you is that I will provide equal justice to all, honor my office as a public trust, and dedicate myself to restoring your faith in our courts.
